Abstract

Wind Power Plant (PLTB) is a way to generate electric current by converting wind power into rotational power by a turbine, then the rotational power is used to drive an electric generator or dynamo and collect it in a battery and channel the current through cables which can be used to turn on the lights, TV, etc. As a solution to the household electrical energy crisis problem for residents of Ujung Blang village, Lhoseumawe City, Aceh. This socialization activity introduces Appropriate Technology for generating renewable energy (energy renwebel) PLTB for the Ujung Blang community for household electrical energy needs so that it can minimize household electricity consumption, increasing public knowledge about the benefits and ways of using wind energy.
