Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of accounting information systems, leadership styles and task complexity on employee performance at OPD Langsa. The sample in this study amounted to 90 respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination test. The results of this study indicate that (1) the accounting information system has a significant effect on employee performance at OPD Langsa, (2) leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance at OPD Langsa, (3) task complexity has a significant effect on employee performance at OPD Langsa, (4) ) Accounting information systems, leadership style and task complexity simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at OPD Langsa. The limitation in this study is that the sample is only taken from the secretary and staffing department, so that it is not fully represented. In addition, in collecting data, researchers only use the questionnaire method, so they will not get answers that are more reflective of the actual situation. Suggestions for future researchers to expand this research by adding other variables. In addition, it is also expected to increase the number of respondents and use the interview method, because with the interview method the researcher will get answers that are more reflective of the actual situation. Suggestions for OPD Langsa in improving the management information system should each agency be able to increase the use of good software and hardware so that work activities can run smoothly. Leaders must provide direction and motivation that supports performance improvement.
